Hey there, folks! It’s time to celebrate for all the students who took the LGS exam! The long-awaited moment has finally arrived as the Ministry of National Education has officially announced the results of the LGS exam.
Let’s dive into the details of this significant event. The LGS exam, which took place on June 2nd, was conducted in 973 exam centers across the country, with a total of 62,663 classrooms in 3,891 schools. Additionally, the exam was also held in 11 exam centers and 35 classrooms in 11 schools abroad.
This year, out of the 1,038,544 students who applied for the LGS, a total of 992,906 students participated in the exam, resulting in an impressive participation rate of 95.61%. The exam covered subjects such as Turkish, Turkish Republic History and Atatürkism, religious culture and ethics, foreign language, mathematics, and science.
According to the guidelines, there are 2,525 high schools nationwide that will admit students based on their central exam scores, with a total capacity of 203,638 students.
The process of selecting preferences for high schools has officially begun today and will continue until Wednesday, July 17th at 5:00 PM. The placement results will be announced on July 22nd.
